When you think back to your Las Vegas gambling trips, you are bound to have happy memories. Who makes those gambling memories so great? The staff that worked tirelessly in the gambling casinos certainly played a big part in making your stay pleasant. Like most people, you probably had a big smile and a bigger ‘thank-you’ to all those who helped you. But did you tip them enough… or at all?
Not all of us can claim to be expert tippers. Especially when it comes to gambling casinos, there are so many people who need to be tipped that we tend to overlook one or two. The first person that you should remember to tip is the taxi driver who drives you to the gambling casino. In Vegas, a taxi driver will expect to be tipped about $5. When it comes to the question of tipping the dealer, there is no clear-cut answer. If your gambling experience is positive thanks to the dealer and you’re on a winning streak, by all means tip him or her. However, don’t feel obliged to do so.
The casino waiters and waitresses in the gambling casino should always be tipped. If you are generous with your tips, they will automatically make a beeline to you with the free drinks offered in the casino. After your gambling session, you will probably make your way to a restaurant. Don’t forget, too, that you need to budget 15% for good service and more if you feel the need.
