A foreign remote gambling company, which is known by the name of Poker Zade, is claiming that is being regulated by ‘Malta Gaming Commission, Ltd.’ according to the Lotteries and Gaming Authority. The authority is concerned about this claim and wants to inform the gambling public that Poker Zade is not regulated by the Malta commission.
The Lotteries and Gaming Authority is the only body that regulates lotteries and gaming in the country of Malta. Poker Zade has no connection in any way, shape or form with the Maltese jurisdiction. This is simply a case of a gambling company that is trying to state legitimacy by using a known gambling regulating body as its backer without its permission or involvement.
It is somewhat easy to understand why a story like this would occur. As the gambling industry on the Internet continues to grow at a rapid speed, more and more people are finding ways to try and enter this industry and hopefully create a successful career for themselves. Because many gambling operators want to see immediate profits, they might get bogged down or frustrated with the necessary steps it takes to actually become a regulated and legal gambling site and company. This could lead to a false claim such as the one mentioned above. It is good news that the LGA found out about this claim and corrected the situation before any more online casino fans could get hurt or mislead. | |
