The Irish online gambling group Paddy Power has recently conducted a survey encompassing hundreds of online casinos players across Ireland and the UK. Even though the official results of the survey won’t be published until next year, the online gambling site has decided to give us a little preview by sharing some of the more surprising revelation it has managed to gather. For example, did you know that as many as 50% of all the online casinos players participating in the survey said that they gamble in the nude? Come to think of it, this shouldn’t come as much of a surprise considering that most people gamble from home.
Another amusing revelation shared by the online gambling site was that 33% of online casino players would be willing to trade in their spouse for a $1 million jackpot. Another 10% answered that they have injured themselves in the past while gambling online. How in the world do you get injured gambling at the online casino? To me, the most shocking revelation of them all was finding out that 60% of the subject would rather play poker than having sex.
Ever get mad while gambling online? We all have. In fact 70% answered that they get so mad that they feel like throwing their computer out the window after losing a bet. Given how popular poker gambling has become, it’s not surprising to learn that 40% answered that they have lied in order to play poker. I would imagine that a considerable amount of those who have lied to play poker, also answered that they will be willing to swap their spouse for a million bucks (probably men lying to their wives). | |
