Aces, a leading gambling poker site on the Internet, recently sponsored a new poker movie, and got to party with the stars. Poker pros Howard Lederer, Phil Gordon, Lisa Mueller, and others got to get down at Lederer’s private World Series of Poker bash. Now we all know that these celebrities can play poker, but who knew they could sing? The highlight of the evening was, according to everyone present, the karaoke contest that Gordon seemed very determined to win. It seems that gambling and poker are not the only things these stars are competitive about.
‘I've been playing poker since I was a kid, and I’ve been playing online poker a lot at Aces since we started hosting Wednesday night Free Roll tournaments there. This is my first WSOP though and all I can say is, ‘WOW! So many cute poker players, so little time!’’ said Sheena Chou who plays the spoiled Chinese school girl in ACES the Movie. While in Las Vegas, Sheena and Christina Morris, who plays the mischievous ‘Elle’ in ACES the movie, recounted their WSOP adventures on their blog. It’s only natural that stars and celebrities of the same feather would hang out with each other in a private party acknowledging their common career in gambling and more specifically, in poker.
