If someone is giving away a free gift, chances are that you’re not going to turn it down if there is no good reason not to take it. When it comes to the gambling world, casinos have a wonderful way of promoting customer loyalty and saying thank you to its gambling public for their support. Free complimentaries (or comps as they are known in the gambling world) are usually offered to gamblers in the form of gifts to encourage them to continue playing at the casinos.
The more players spend their time gambling at casinos, the more comps they will be offered by the gambling casinos. Comps can be in any form, but they are usually free meals, accommodation at hotels and courtesy drinks. Gambling casinos want players to feel good about the fact that they are forking out a lot of money and so they offer free comps to keep their clients coming back for me.
Free comps are probably the one area where offline gambling casinos have an upper hand from online casinos. While online casinos offer their own ‘comps’, in the form of welcome bonuses, many gamblers still claim that they feel great when they receive ‘real’ comps from gambling casinos. Comps have gamblers flocking to Vegas and Atlantic City so that they, too, can feel special.
