Famous Hollywood actress Cameron Diaz known for her work in hit movies such as “Charlie’s Angels” and “The Mask” admits for the first time that she has become hooked on poker gambling. Diaz, the self proclaimed poker addict attributes her poker gambling addiction to fellow actress and comedian Ellen DeGeneres who was the first to introduce her to the game.
Diaz, who is now 33 years old, confesses that ever since she learned all the rules and gambling strategies for playing the game, she has been spending more and more time gambling on poker at casinos and participating in tournaments. Diaz confesses, “I'm addicted to it. I do like the casino a bit. I find myself at a casino every once in a while just walking through going: 'What am I doing here?' That's so desperate - I'm in Tunica, Mississippi”.
Diaz also recalls the first time she has ever played poker, which was at DeGeneres’ house who invited her to play Texas Hold'Em one night. Diaz traces her love affair with poker gambling to that fateful night. Even though Diaz confessed that she didn’t know how to play the game, DeGeneres managed to convince her to come. After gambling for hours, the inexperienced Diaz managed to beat everyone sitting at the table taking away all of their money.
