The first is being constantly obsessed with gambling to the point when you feel the urge to do so at almost any given moment. The second symptom is having the need to keep raising the stakes whenever you are gambling. Another symptom is failing to quit or cut down on your gambling activity after repeated tries.

The forth symptom is having a constant crave for gambling whenever you are not around it. If you keep finding yourself in a predicament when you feel compelled to raise the stakes in order to compensate for your losses, you can regard it as another sign. The sixth symptom is constantly lying about your gambling and feeling the need to hide it from other. Resorting to criminal activities to subsidize your gambling habits is another obvious indication.
