The Responsible Gambling Council's Discovery 2006 conference will hosts problem gambling prevention experts. The conference is being held in Toronto until April 12. The Responsible Gambling Council's conference addresses the issue of problem gambling prevention and brings together treatment professionals, researchers, and other people with relevance to the field.
"Discovery 2006 brings together a diverse group of people who have a vested interest in problem gambling prevention," says Jon Kelly, CEO, RGC. "The conference offers an opportunity to share leading-edge ideas, research and programs and explore in depth the challenging issues of problem gambling that face all sectors."
This year's keynote speakers offer unique perspectives on the issue of problem gambling. Jeffrey S. Rosenthal, a professor in the Department of Statistics at the University of Toronto, and author of Struck by Lightning, explores randomness and probability. Grant Corbett, Principal, Behavior Change Solutions Inc., will discuss what works in problem gambling interventions and why. | |
