CyberArts, a San Francisco based online gambling software developer, has recently released a new, and apparently significant, upgrade to its Foundation universal gaming platform. Among other things, the new version includes expanded business intelligence reporting and game feature management functionality. “Business intelligence reporting is one of the most important features for the online gambling sites we’re working with” says Ken Arnold, Chairman of CyberArts. ”Those sites will be able now to customize awards, skins, promotions and games without engineering support, which is an incredible advantage”.
Arnold is no newbie in the online gambling software industry. In 1981 he formed Datalogix, a pioneering software development company which was later acquired by Oracle. After that he co-founded Formation Systems, and served there as its CEO. Another member of CyberArts with much experience in the industry is Chris Derossi, the CEO. Working for Apple Computers for 7 years as a chief software architect, Derossi knows a thing or two about software development. “Our goal with this new tool is to take the programmer out of the picture. We made the admin tools as flexible as possible for the online gambling industry and the whole installation and configuration shouldn’t take the operator more than hour” noted Derossi.
Apart from those features, the new software will also include some other new functions that may help the online gambling site operator. Some of those functions are real-time dashboard for ongoing management and permission-based level access. The company will demonstrate this new online gambling software’s features in the Global Gaming Expo in Las Vegas, hoping to attract as many operators as possible | |
