In addition to the Treasure Chest gambling facility that was closed on August 27th, Boyd Gaming Corporation also had to shut down Delta Downs, which another gambling resort owned by the company. Gambling at the Delta Downs, which is located in the southwest part of Louisiana, was halted on September 22nd, as result of Hurricane Rita. As opposed to the Treasure Chest, gambling at the Delta Downs has not been resumed as of yet.
