One does not necessarily be special in order to be a gambling expert. We are witnessing regular people gambling winnings all the time. Take the following example, for instance. Victoria Coren is a 33-years-old journalist that works for London's Guardian newspaper. She has recently won GBP 500,000 in the London segment of the European Poker Tour championships.
After playing for three days at the Grosvenor Hotel's Victoria Casino, in west London, Coren is now officially the very first woman that wins the London section of the poker competition, which is considered to be one of the biggest poker tournaments in the world. The gambling fans and opponents were impressed by Coren's stylish play level and a friendly, outgoing character.
Coren is a journalists who writes a weekly column in the newspaper about How to Play Poker. She said she was shocked that she won the prize, even though she has played poker for many years and had even won before. Coren said about her plans for the gambling prize: "To go and play in other international events and probably never achieve such an impressive result again!" Coren, the resident of north London, is the author of Love 16, Once More with Feeling and King Lear: Fathers and Daughters. So do not be shy; if you are good at gambling, play and win big prizes! With a little faith anything is possible. | |
