Online gambling site, Bet by Internet casino and sports book, announced that eBay has decided to halt its $100,000 auction for a pre-paid membership to be used for online gambling. The auction which ran almost a full two days had seen its fair share of traffic from EBAY potential buyers. Bet by Internet announced on a popular sports betting forum that the reserve price was set at nearly 50% less the face value of $100,000 worth in credits for the online gambling site, to somewhere around $49,000.
Bet by Internet was surprised it took nearly two full days for the EBAY legal team to catch and react to the auction and finally make the decision to stop the auction sighting the complaint that the online gambling site is 'encouraging illegal actions'. The casinos guess is that the legal department was at a prolonged holiday party and slept the first few days of the auction! Bet by Internet plans to list a similar auction, but this time will make the catch of the promotion a pre-paid gambling trip to Las Vegas.
Gambling is only legal in certain parts of the US. So the online gambling site assumes that EBAY should not have a problem with this type of auction. Bet by Internet continues its $100,000 Challenge, played with $25. Visit the website for more information on the 13 game parlay promotion. The site is an online entertainment company offering casino games, sports book gambling, sports wagering and betting
