The star of the first ever eGaming Awards was Online Casino 888, wining top honors as both ‘Best Overall Online Gaming Operator of the Year’ and ‘Best Online Casino of the Year’. Winning the award in these two categories further solidifies Online Casino 888 as one of the most dominant forces in the online gambling industry. This is the first time that the eGaming Awards event has taken place, which makes the online gambling win that much more special.
After the win, John Anderson, CEO of the online gambling operator had this to say, “These awards are hugely important to us. Our online gambling company has already been acknowledged by the largest consumer gambling magazine in the UK at this year's Inside Edge Awards where we won Best Online Casino of the year; however, it was especially pleasing to be acknowledged by the people within the industry. These awards recognize the hard work of all our staff and the continued drive to be the best within the online gambling industry”.
Chairman of the online gambling operator, Marie Stevens, was a visibly delighted when she got up on stage to accept the award the first award for ‘Best Online Casino’. It wasn’t long until Stevens was back up there again to claim the main award of the night, which was for the ‘Best Overall Online Gambling Operator of the Year’. The online casino faced tough competition in this category with the likes of William Hill Party Gaming and Ladbrokes.
