In contrary to reports, online gambling operator Empire Poker is doing just fine. A recent online survey indicates that the online casino is still regarded as a popular choice among online gambling fans. The survey was conducted to assess the desirability of the online gambling site on the heels of all Party Gaming attempts to purchase the company. The survey shows that for the week that ended on October 30th, the online gambling site was frequented by 5,212 active real money players.
The data was collected using advanced statistics software that collected live figures reflecting the turnout at the online gambling site, updating itself every 10 minutes all throughout the day. The online gambling site registered an average of 1,701 active real-money ring-game players during the entire week. The average number of tournament online casino players at any given time was 817, making the average total of active real money players an impressive 2,518.
This passing week has been flooded with headlines discussing an impending takeover by Party Gaming, which operates Party Poker, one of the biggest names in the online gambling market. Empire Poker has suffered a drop in profits since PartyGaming severed ties with its partnering online gambling sites, one of which was Empire Poker. This streamlining cut off Empire Poker players from the thousands of players on Party Poker.
