Online gambling site Nine Dot Com apparently believes in second chances, offering Supermodel, Kate Moss, an endorsement deal serving as the online gambling site’s spokesperson. Kate Moss has been making headiness as of late. Whoever came up with the saying “There is no such thing as bad publicity”, obviously didn’t have Moss in mind. A British publication showed pictures of Moss allegedly snorting cocaine. As a result, Chanel, Burberry and H&M all dropped Moss as their spokesperson, thus coasting her millions of dollars in advertisement fees.
Jack Abrams, spokesman for the online gambling site says, “We believe in giving people who have been affected by both seen and unforeseen circumstances a second chance”. Abrams added by saying, “Our demographic clientele is gambling males, ages 21 to 45. We did a real quick focus group with some of our gambling customers to see if they'd be offended in any way, and the response was an overwhelming, 'Yes, please, get Kate Moss as your spokesperson”.
If Moss chesses to accept the deal, she would have to comply with certain conditions. Moss would be required to attend a rehab program in addition to participating in two-month retreat in Costa Rica, home of the online gambling site’s headquarters. The terms of the proposed deal would also oblige Moss to take part in the gambling site’s anti-drug campaign. If Moss fails to meet any of these conditions or suffers a relapse, her contract with the gambling site will be nullified.
