The online gambling industry now has a new way to advertise their sites. Just as pixel ads took the internet world by storm, the goal of one online gambling portal is to do have a great and creative way to advertise gambling. With so many different gambling sites out there, it is difficult for the newer ones to get on the radar. This advertising ploy is a great an affordable way for these gambling sites to gain exposure. On February 3, 2006, Casino Icons will unveil a new website. They will offer online gambling institutions the opportunity to rent icons that are linked to their site. Unlike other sites that offer pixels to their customers, Casino Icons will be offering actual icons.
All of the icons will be formatted at 32 x 32 pixels, and will be viewed in a desktop environment, which is set at 1024 x 768. Therefore, only 99 icons are available to rent. Due to the limited offering, they will be allocated on a first come first serve basis. Because Casino Icons is not using pixels, their site will incorporate attractive backgrounds that will be changed periodically. Their goal is to encourage visitors to return on a regular basis to view the new layout.This is a unique opportunity for online gaming organizations to advertise their site for an initial price of $50 a month per icon. Participants can provide a logo or customized picture to be used as their icon that will be placed on the desktop for the standard rate.
In addition, there is no limit regarding the number of icons that may be purchased. A small caption is included that can include up to 20 characters. This can be used to encourage visitors to click on the link. The priority spot on the desktop will be raffled off each month to one lucky winner, who has purchased an icon. This organization's link will be placed in the #1 spot, and will be included on the Winner's Page. Only gambling sites, which have purchased an icon in the previous month, will be eligible for the drawing.
