The gambling world has one game that has truly beaten out all others. It is the game of poker, and regardless of where you live on this planet, you have probably played this gambling phenomenon or have at least heard of it. If you love the game of poker you could try out for your chance to play at the 2006 British Poker Open. Leading internet gambling poker room, Poker Heaven, has started running exclusive qualifiers for the 2006 British Poker Open, to be filmed in London in March. This prestigious tournament was founded in 2005 and with players such as Greg Raymer, Chris 'Jesus' Ferguson, Howard Lederer and Dave 'Devilfish' Ulliot competing in it's maiden year - the 2006 gambling event promises to be even bigger and better.
The 2005 British Poker Open was won by online American qualifier Adam Djumovic, who not only walked away with the gambling title, but a first prize of almost £100,000. Poker Heaven is now sending gambling fans to the BPO from as little as $2, which is not bad for a $7,000 prize package. This includes a £3,000 buy-in to the No Limit Hold'em Freezeout tournament as well as $1600 for travel expenses. With each heat being filmed exclusively on the Poker Channel, the British Poker Open is widely regarded as one of the biggest gambling events to be taking place in 2006.
