 GIGSE Online Gambling Conference Reports Record Figures

The organizers of the GIGSE conference are reporting that the number of attendees at this month’s online gambling event were record high. The conference which took place on 16-18 of May in Montreal was one of the highlights of the online gambling industry’s events calendar. A total of 1821 people from more than 42 countries registered for the online gambling conference and 127 businesses either had an exhibition booth or sponsored a proceeding.

Sue Schneider, CEO of River City Group, which hosted the conference, said that the hype and vibe which surrounded the participants is an indication of the buzz currently occurring in the online gambling industry. She said that there were many new attendees who simply wanted to be part of the action and to see how they can get involved in the exciting and evolving online gambling industry, in any way. The online gambling industry is still on a high and the poker buzz is still very much in the air.

Attendees at the conference were treated to top speakers in the online gambling industry, which focused on the future of the industry, the current legal questions surrounding the future of online gambling in America, and different technological advancements which could change the face of the industry in coming years.
