The secret to success in sports gambling is predicting an upset. Sports gambling odds makers are giving better odds to the underdog, which means that you stand to make more money in case the underdog wins. For example, coming into week 6 there was not one sports gambling site that predicted that the New York Jets will beat the undefeated Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
The 1-3 Jets were definitely the underdogs going against the 4-0 Buccaneers. The means the gambling odds given to the Jets were more favorable than the ones given to Tampa Bay.
