NFL Week 7 Sports Gambling Preview

- Sunday, 23 Oct 2005

Every Sunday we bring you a recap of all the best gambling opportunities, as we compare the odds given by two premier sports gambling sites. Sportsbook, sports gambling site has the Seattle Seahawks as -4 points favorite to win against the Dallas Cowboys. Even though Dallas is coming off two straight victories in the last couple of weeks, the first against Philadelphia and the second against the Giants, they are not quite ready for a team such as the Seattle. Last week against the Giants, Dallas showed a prepotency to turning the ball over. According the betting line offered by the sports gambling site, Seattle needs to beat Dallas by more than 4 points to cover the spread. Considering the fact that the Seahawks are playing at home, the odds hare definitely in their favor.

Bodog, has the Seahawks listed as -4.5 points favorite to win the game, which means that if Seattle beats the Cowboys by exactly 4 points, you lose your bet (if you bet on Seattle). Another intriguing game this Sunday is the one between the Denver Broncos and the New York Giants. Currently, both sports gambling sites have the Giants as -2.5 favorites to win the game. Considering how poorly the Giants have played last week and how impressive Lake Plummer in Denver’s win last week, this game would be a good game to bet on if you are gambling on the upset.

Another game that has caught our attention is the one between the Green Bay Packers and the Minnesota Vikings. Currently, both sports gambling sits have the Packers as the favorites. However, Bodog has them at -2.5, while Sportsbook has them at -2. The Vikings are a mess, and even though they are playing the game at home, both sports gambling sites lean towards Green Bay. The only difference is that if you bet on the Packers with Bodog, they’ll have to win by more than 3 points to cover the spread (no situation for tie). On the other hand, with Sportsbook a tie is possible if the Packers only beat them by 2 ponts.
