Super Bowl XL proved to be one of the busiest times in online gambling history. Gambling fans were placing their bets on all types of football props and the resulting winner was indeed the favorite at online gambling fans. One website, who prides themselves on having some of the most knowledgeable sports gambling fans, had a lot of happy winners at the end of the big game. Picks Pal players proved once again they really know their pro football, as the free online sports picks site's Big Game Blowout Contest came to an end with a site-wide predicted Pittsburgh win and the occurrence of several long shot gambling props. While many sports experts did have Pittsburgh beating Seattle, only Picks Pal gambling fans were sure of the otherwise surprising plays during the big game. For example, 78 percent were sure that someone besides Ben Roethlisberger would throw a pass for the Steelers, and 93 percent knew that a touchdown pass would go for over 35 yards during the game; both of which were covered in one play. Other long shot gambling props featured on Picks Pal that took place during Sunday's big game were Roethlisberger's touchdown dive, Willie Parker's 75 yard TD run, and Kelly Herndon's 76-yard interception return.
But now that football season is over, gambling enthusiasts are looking to NCAA basketball playoffs. With the March mania surrounding the men's college basketball tournament right around the corner, sports gambling players are set to watch all the action on TV while competing in Picks Pal's College Basketball Bracket Contest, which will also feature big prizes. Just because football season is over it does not mean that online casino sportsbooks will be out of business. In addition to NCAA basketball, gambling fans can bet on NBA games and the Winter Olympics.
