Mansion online gambling group, a Gibraltar based online casino company, could be the next high profile advertiser for Manchester United, if a shirt deal comes through. The gambling group is reported to have put down a GBP 60 million over four years bid in an attempt to win the prestigious deal. Despite a very mediocre season, it seems that Manchester United still knows how to keep the big fish biting, and the gambling group is not the only one trying to grab the deal.
It is reported that Mansion gambling group is not the only bidder, but is certainly at the lead. Theirs is considered to be a fantastic offer and it could be credited to the very successful online gambling year that 2005 was. The gambling group’s GBP 15 million a year beats Chelsea’s FC's GBP 50 million five year deal with the Korean electronic giant Samsung. It is also a million pounds more than the world record GBP 14 million a year BenQ Mobile pay Real Madrid.
The gambling group already has an active sponsorship campaign on American TV stations for Fox Sports Networks. The gambling group recently signed the biggest-ever televised poker deal with Fox and is constantly looking for similar sponsorship deals. | |
